O MY FATHER-Violin Duet w/piano acc (ship)

We really like this arrangement. We've performed it several times, though I'm not sure we've ever actually played it properly as a violin duet, and it always invites the spirit into the meeting. It's a little easier (at least for me, the pianist) than "A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief." My husband had no trouble adapting it for solo violin when a second violinist was unavailable, and it was really lovely as a violin/viola duet. We attempted it one evening at home as a violin/flute duet, but it didn't work at all, perhaps because our favorite young flutist wasn't quite ready for it.
