Following the Prophet is an uplifting collection of eight hymns and children's gospel songs focused on increasing our understanding and desire to follow the counsel of the Prophet. The arrangements are intended to provide special opportunities for Primary children and families to have significant spiritual experiences though music. We believe active participation in congregational hymn singing is an essential part of personal worship, and time spent in the home learning and singing the hymns will reap eternal blessings for the family.
The arrangements in this volume have piano accompaniments and are designed for groups to sing using the 1995 edition of the Children's Songbook of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and the 1985 edition of Hymns, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The director and the accompanist use the Following the Prophet arrangement books. The printed arrangement book is available to be shipped to you, or it may be downloaded to your own printer. The individual numbers are available separately by download only. A melody only page is included for the original number Listen to Our Prophet, and a violin parts only page is included for We Ever Pray for Thee.
