This sweet choral arrangement of the children's song presents a powerful message. The men's voices begin the first verse in unison changing to the women on the third phrase and concluding the verse in two-part harmony. A piano interlude leads into the second verse which is sung in four part harmony and concludes with a soft and thoughtful hum.
This musical arrangement by Larry R. Beebe is based on the children's song, Tell Me Dear Lord, as found in the Children's Songbook of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with text by M.E.P, and music by C. Harold Lowden.
